I started playing guitar when I was 12 years old. I taught myself to play and began writing songs. Things developed and in the beginning of the eighties I was in a punk band. We played a few songs by other artists but mostly I provided the songs. The band did not last and we never achieved any fame but it was fun.

 

I kept on writing songs afterwards. A large percentage of all my songs were in English. I do not know why. Perhaps because English is a good language for writing such songs. I hope to take up songwriting again someday but first I have to get back in shape playing guitar to do that.

 

Those songs available here were recorded in 2005. Good friends assisted me with the recording but it is only me singing and playing acoustic guitar. The lyrics for these songs are also available here.
